Heidi is a doe that we purchased in Georgia and we made the trip to incorporate her genetics into our herd. Her sire is Blissberry SM Rock Solid and his dam is SGCH Blissberry FM Rockstar who was the Number 1 Nubian in Milk Production for 2008 and 2009, she also was number 1 in butterfat and protein production in 2009. Heidi is Blissberry / Kastdemur genetics on the sire's side and she is Kismet Marvins Smooth Operator and High Caliber Marvin's Big Max on the dam's side. This produced a very lovely doe and we were glad we made the trip. I bred Heidi to Kismet Operator's in Scharge for 2011 kids and we retained a doe kid, Briar Mtn Charger's Got A Hemi. At our very first show with Hemi she received high praises from both judges and one judge stated that she had great conformation and was the " ideal " Nubian. Hemi went on to win Grand Champion in that show and earned her Junior Leg, not a bad way to start off the show season.
